Valerie Eichler Lair is a full-time Professional Genealogist based in Minnesota. She conducts research for clients, as well as providing coaching/consultations. She teaches classes, workshops, and all-day seminars. She gives presentations at society meetings or for community groups, and sessions at conferences. Valerie is an author of four (4) genealogy/history books for her direct ancestral lines and authored several articles in genealogical society newsletters or journals.

  • ProGen23 – An 18-month intense peer-review study group discussing and submitting assignments from the book, Professional Genealogy. Began 1 June 2014, completed 2 November 2015. Valerie was the Discussion Group Leader.
